Once again we are headed to Watermelon Park for this fun weekend. So roll out those tents, sleeping bags, tarps and get them aired out for another great time together along the Shenandoah river.  The cost is  $42.00 per person for the weekend, children 12 and under are $10.00 per child, electric hook-ups are $15 per night.  Watermelon Park has changed their rules and regulations concerning a few things but it is still a great value for the money spent. As far as fires go we have to abide by new rules & cannot bring in our own wood and must be in above ground fire pits unless along the river. Our big bonfire will still be a go but we’ll have to buy some firewood from Watermelon Park.

Welcome Party Fri Nite: 6-10 Pm (Beer, Wine, and Munchies)

Sat Morning Breakfast:7-10 Am (Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, and Hash Browns)

Sat Night Dinner:6-8 Pm (Burgers, Brats, Hot Dogs, Chicken, Fresh Corn on the Cob and all the fixins)

Sun Morning Breakfast:7-10 Am (Blueberry Pancakes, Bacon, and Sausage)

 

What to Bring:  Lunches, Snacks, and Float Drinks are NOT provided so BYO!   Don’t forget: camping/floating essentials including bug repellant, sun block, water-shoes/old tennies, sunglasses, coolers, water toys, cameras

There will be more beer on hand than last year! So no worries there!
