Ocean City, Maryland Memorial Day Weekend May 27 - 30, 2011

This is Dutch, your beach bum with exciting news for our 2nd Annual Memorial Day three-day weekend to Ocean City. We will be staying at the world famous Phillips Hotel and Crab House on the boardwalk on 13th Street. Ski in-ski out to the beach. Free parking. Price will range from in the hotel $262 to $221. In the courtyard which is all efficiencies which means full kitchen and full refrigerator, many packages from a high of $262 to a low of $101, according to how many you have in the apartment or simple efficiency.

Last year we had 18, hope to double that this year. Breakfast is included and I will be doing the cooking, assisted by my daughter, Connie. Also, at least one wine and cheese party. Cancellation fee is $25 or unrecoverable loss. Non-members, $10 additional or you can apply $10 to your membership application.

Got bad news and got good news. Bad news is if you have a dog, you can’t bring him and also qualifies for good news for those people that don’t have a dog. Further good news is that Ocean Downs is now a race track/casino. We will probably be organizing carpooling if there is an interest.

So how much?  You can just come for the day, come just for dinner, or stay in the hotel.  You have a choice of either a king, a queen or t2o single beds.  Based on tw0 to a room, price runs, for the entire weekend, including all tax and gratuities, $218 to $187.  Also, includes a Sunday Wine/Cheese Party after lunch.  Stay next door, still on the boardwalk, in the "courtyard," price is $236 or $224, according to view.  Finally, the apartment.  Large bedroom with two double beds, living room with tw0 day beds, dining area, full kitchen, full bath, six to seven people and drops price to less than $100 for the weekend per person.
