Aspen Bash Trip

March  19 - 26, 2011

For many years our favorite ski trip was the annual bash trip with the other Fagowee branches. The bash trip is back, this time at Aspen in March.  We will be staying in 2-bedroom condos at the Gant. Or if you prefer, we are offering hotel lodging at the nearby Mountain House Lodge. This will be a bash trip, and are anticipating a total of 80 or so Washington and Cleveland Fagowees.  We will be offering a package that includes, air, transfers, lodging, 5 of 8-day interchangeable lift tickets at the four Aspen areas, and the party package, which will include a number of dinners, parties, bash souvenirs, and other goodies. You may arrange for your own air and transfers if you prefer, and you can also omit the lift tickets.

 If you stay at the Gant, which is where most of the group will be staying,  the total price is $1500, and if you stay in the Mountain House Lodge the total price is $1462. On March 19 we will fly on Continental from BWI through Houston to Eagle. Upon arriving in Eagle we will then join 20 of the Cleveland Fagowees for a short bus ride to Aspen. On the 26^th we will bus back to Eagle with the Cleveland Fagowees, and then return on Continental through Houston to BWI.

Initially, we have 20 spaces at the Gant and 10 at the Mountain House Lodge,  but more will be available. So sign up soon.   Cleveland’s trip leader has advised that this is the only western trip offered by their club this winter.

 Payment schedule:  $100 at signup

                             $500 by December 7

                             Balance by January 27

Cancellation fees:  Prior to September 1- no fee September 1 to December 1-$25.00 After December 1-$100, plus any unrecoverable losses Non-member fee $25.00
